Well, I knew when we set off it wasn’t going to be easy but even though Far Coley is on a hill and the predicted wind was 20mph to 35mph gusting I was in need of some shooting practice.
This one was a real lesson in shooting in the wind, I don’t think I’ve ever given so much to targets that close before but I can’t say any of it made any sense. Close targets taking 60-80mm and long targets taking nothing, some left and some right. It felt like a game of roulette, you placed your bet and the house wins.
Like any shoot tho, someone was always going to do well and that someone was my old mucker Mark Rodgers with a 35, well done Mark.
